Christ Church nurtures faith through Christian Education and nurtures spirits through Worship in several different ways and at different times.
Led by group members, we invite you to join us in the exploration of relevant topics; including: various Books of the Bible , Purposeful studies, and seasonal topics. We invite you to mature in your faith, meet others and form friendships, and magnify the love of Christ through our time spent together.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL will be studying the Gospel of John resuming November 24. Thus far we have dealt with the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke-Acts. The course is taught via CD lectures by Dr. Timothy Luke Johnson of Emory University Chandler School of Theology. It is very enlightening to have the perspective of a theology professor who can read fluently in the original Greek. We invite anyone who is interested in a deeper understanding of the Gospels to join us in the conference room on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15. The teaching is engaging and the discussions are lively. All are welcome.
All children ages 4 – 12 years are welcome to join us for Sunday School. Classes will be held the second and fourth Sunday of each month through the school year, after the Children’s sermon. The lesson will be related to the Gospel reading followed by a simple craft and a snack.
December 22 - The Very First Christmas. Sunday School children (ages 4 - 12) meet teachers in the back of the Sanctuary following the Children’s Sermon.
Every Sunday at 11:00 AM
This service begins with a time of welcome and then proceeds through the drama of worship. Our service is a multi-generational, participatory worship service, inspired by the Scriptures. We celebrate God's love in a vibrant and diverse community.
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP BULLETINS
The weekly greeter can assist you in finding a children's worship bulletin. It includes coloring pages, puzzles and pictures to help your child understand what's happening in worship. Please read and enjoy this special bulletin with your child. Worship materials are also available. There are Bible activities on the table in the back of the sanctuary including coloring books and books about Jesus.
Communion is celebrated on the First Sunday of each month as part of the morning worship service.
